Content and rights

All text, photographs, artwork and design on this site are the property of their respective owners. Unless stated otherwise, the work on this site may not be reproduced, distributed or used commercially without written permission. Tattoo designs and photographs remain the intellectual property of the artist and the individuals depicted.

External links

Some links on this site lead to other websites. Once you follow such a link you are on a site operated by someone else, and the site operator takes over responsibility for it. This legal notice covers this site only. For anything you see or do on an external site, that site's own terms and privacy policy apply, and you should contact its operator.

The content of this site is provided for general information and is kept as current as I can. Nothing on this site constitutes professional, legal or medical advice. For health questions about a tattoo, speak to your doctor.

Data privacy

Summary

This site does not use analytics, does not run advertising, sets no cookies and has no contact form. Visiting these pages does not create a profile of you and does not require you to identify yourself in any way. Because nothing is stored on your device, there is no cookie banner to accept.

What is collected automatically

Like any web server, the host serving these pages records technical connection data such as IP address, browser type, requested page, and time of visit. This is used only to deliver the site and keep it running securely. It is not used to build a profile, and it is not combined with any other data about you.

Cookies and local storage

This site sets no cookies and uses no local storage, advertising or cross-site tracking. The fonts and the animation library are served from this site itself, so no third party sees your IP address when a page loads. Animation and navigation work without cookies.

Third-party services

The site is hosted on Vercel, which processes the connection data described above in order to serve the pages. Vercel acts as a processor on my instructions, not as a separate controller of your data, and may process it outside the EU under appropriate safeguards. If you write to me by email, I use your address only to reply.

Social links

Social media links lead to external platforms. If you follow them, your visit is governed by that platform's own privacy policy, not by this page. Nothing is transmitted to those platforms until you choose to click. The link to www.mertcoart.com leads to my own tattoo website, which has its own privacy policy and cookie choices.

Your rights

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation you have the right to access the personal data held about you, to request its correction or deletion, to object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit). As this site does not collect personal data, there is normally nothing held about you to hand over. If you nonetheless have a question, write to the address given above.

Retention and security

Connection data is retained only for as long as needed to serve the site and meet legal obligations, and is not used for any other purpose. I do not sell or share data, and there is no data to breach, because none is collected in the first place.

Information, not an offer

Pages on this site describe my work and are not a binding offer. Tattoo appointments are arranged through www.mertcoart.com, and the terms and conditions published there apply to every booking. BiosignalX is in development and cannot be booked yet. Its description and milestones may change as the project moves forward.

Intellectual property

The text, photographs, artwork, video and design on this site are protected. You may share a link to a page. You may not copy, reproduce or use the material commercially, or present the tattoo designs as your own, without my written permission.

Acceptable use

Please use the site as intended. Do not attempt to disrupt it, overload it with automated requests, or gain access to anything that is not publicly offered.

Links to other sites

Once you follow a link to a site that is not mine, such as a social media platform, you are on a site run by someone else, and its operator is responsible for it and for its own terms. The link to www.mertcoart.com leads to my own site, covered by its own terms and privacy policy.

I may update these terms as the site changes. The date below shows the latest version, and using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Belgian law, and the courts of Brussels have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory rights you have as a consumer in your country of residence.
